A popular and legend story is behind it. Bhakta Prahlada’s father Hrinykshyap considered himself as God. Prahlad was a devotee of Vishnu but Hrinyakshyap was opposed to Vishnu. He want to stop Prahlada’s devotion to Vishnu, He tried to kill Prahlad.
Prahlad’s father had sought help from his sister Holika. The fire was not burning Holika was blessed. Holika was ready to help his brother. Prahlad Holika sat on the pile to be safe but Prahlad and Holika burnt by the grace of Vishnu was consumed.
This story is a sign of the victory of good things. We celebrate Holi on every Purnima and the next day everyone gulal on each other, like Abir. This festival is a festival of colors. On this day people in the morning to get up and colors, and their relatives and friends home to play Holi with them fiercely. For children, this festival has special significance. Before Holi they purchase from the market to bring such Pickaris and balloons. Kids enjoy Holi with balloons and Pichkari with friends.

Always play with hurble colors. Chemical colors are harmful to the skin. Should stay away from drugs and chemical coatings foods. Children also should be careful.
